Merge PDF online (Unir PDFs) — Combine files in seconds

Merge PDF (also called Unir PDFs) combines multiple PDF files into a single document in the exact order you choose. It’s perfect for invoices, receipts, shipping labels, forms, contracts, and scanned pages.

Privacy: your files are processed locally in your browser. We do not upload your PDFs to our servers.

What this tool does (and what it does not)

Merge PDF simply combines pages from your PDFs into one file. It does not “convert” your PDFs, and it does not change visual quality by default.

  • Does: joins pages into a single PDF, preserving page order.
  • Does not: compress PDFs, edit text, OCR scans, or change page content.

When NOT to use Merge PDF

  • If you need a smaller file: merge first, then compress the final PDF (merging keeps page content as-is).
  • If you only need a few pages: extract/split pages instead of merging entire documents.
  • If you need editable text: convert the merged PDF to Word (DOCX) after merging (or before, depending on your workflow).

Will it keep my PDFs exactly the same?

Merge PDF keeps each page’s content as it appears. However, advanced features like interactive forms, attachments, or special metadata can vary depending on the source PDFs. Always review the final file if your PDFs are password-protected or contain interactive elements.

Best use cases

  • Invoices & receipts: merge multiple purchase receipts into one PDF for accounting.
  • Shipping labels: combine labels into a single file for printing.
  • Forms: join multi-part forms or applications into one document.
  • Scans: merge scanned pages (e.g., ID front/back, signed pages).
  • Work & school: submit one PDF with multiple sections and attachments.

Tips to get the exact order you want

  • Reorder before merging: use the ↑ / ↓ buttons next to each file.
  • Rename files if needed: if you have many PDFs, naming them “01”, “02”, “03”… makes ordering easier.
  • Verify page counts: the tool can show the estimated output pages so you can confirm the final size before downloading.

Common issues and quick fixes

1) One of my PDFs is “locked” or password-protected

Some PDFs are encrypted and cannot be merged unless you remove the password first. Open the PDF in your PDF viewer, remove the password (if you have permission), save it, and try again.

2) The merged PDF looks the same as my original

That usually happens when you merge only one PDF. Merging is most noticeable when you combine two or more PDFs—your output page count should become the sum of all selected files.

3) The output file is large

Merging keeps page content intact, so the output size can be close to the total size of your inputs. If you need a smaller file, use a Compress PDF tool afterward.

4) My browser feels slow with very large PDFs

Merging happens locally and uses your device resources. For very large PDFs, try closing other tabs/apps, or merge fewer files at a time.
